Design and Engineering

Optics for Hire specializes in optical system design and prototyping. We provide services including custom lens design, opto-mechanical, and electronics design. We work on projects ranging from design of a single lens to delivery of a complete product incorporating optical, mechanical, and electronic subsystems.

Drawing from many years of optical design experience and the know-how of our team of 20 engineers — including 4 PhD's in optics, mechanical, and electrical engineers, and CAD designers-we are able to deliver world class system designs to our customers.

Deliverables

We deliver complete optical design, electronics design, turnkey optical system, opto-electrical, and mechanical laser system prototypes, lens design, and micro processor control systems.

Resources

Our research laboratories in Lviv, Ukraine and Minsk, Belarus maintain up to date equipment. We deliver designs in ZEMAX, FRED, AutoCad, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and other software programs. For fast custom parts, prototype, fixtures, tools, and metal applications we use and internal machine shop.

Billing

Contracts are billable on project or low per 'man hour' basis.
